Target; Embark Air Mattress - Embark Double-High Air Bed With Pump
My sister bought a queen, double-high air bed with pump (Embark) from Target for me to use while staying with her following her surgery. The bed did not hold air!!! When I tried to return it, they wanted to give me a replacement but I purchased a different one at a closer store since I needed something ASAP.
My sister asked for a store credit instead and was told no! It was a take it or leave it. Since she didn't need a second bed and was not in any condition to argue just getting out of the hospital, she gave up. It was not a cheap bed! It is a queen-sized, double-high.
Well, someone can tell me then: Just when did Target stop guaranteeing their merchandise? They claimed a policy change and that there was a sign posted somewhere in the store but I never noticed it!!!
I can't believe they are unable to take back defective merchandise and give a credit. Obviously, they just didn't want to be bothered!!! I will NEVER shop at TARGET again and will tell everyone I see not to as well!!
